Proteomic research group provides complex analysis of protein composition of cells, tissues, body fluids, extracellular vesicles, as well as secretomes of in vitro cultured cells. We use mainly mass spectrometry and immunological techniques.
The major studied areas are:
- cancer biology and inter-cellular relationships in the cancer microenvironment that affect tumor growth
- development and degeneration of nervous system (neural stem cell
differentiation, neurodegeneration, experimental cell and gene
therapies)s
